Summer has finally arrived,
and it looks like this time she's here to stay for a bit.
Soon it will be too hot to get out of the house between 11 am and 4 pm,
and we'll be desperately looking for ways to escape the midnight heat,
but for now we're glad the rainclouds have drifted away,
and we can finally shed a layer of clothing.
We all agreed there couldn't possibly be a better way to celebrate this,
than with a day at the lake, and we were right.
I really enjoyed the change of scenery,
the cold water on my feet,
and the very first chance this year to show off ten freshly painted toe nails,
and I really hope we'll be back for a day at the lake soon.
But how about you?
Has summer arrived in your corner of the woods?
And do you usually celebrate this turning of the seasons?
